#1: I really enjoy how this view of Otis shows his eyes' natural color but also is a clear picture of everything, including his roast beef dinner. I feel like this perspective shows his fierce love of roast beef. The angle and natural lighting give off a very intense vibe. Otis seems focused.
#2: This perspective, with flash, really intensifies each piece of fur and focuses all attention on Otis since the background is much darker in contrast to his white fur. The angle makes it looks like he is investigating something, this gives off a more curious or just distracted vibe than the previous photo.

Overall, I prefer the first photo because I like the way the natural lighting captures his features. I prefer my photos to look like the actual subject rather than an intensified image.
