I found this photo shoot tricky because my kitty does not sit still. I would have set up fancier forms of lighting but there is no way they would hit him the way I was planning. I enjoyed chasing him around my room and snapping a shot whenever he did anything adorable. The second photo is my favorite because the lighting is completely natural and because that is his "love me face." I have found that flash gives me a clearer shot of him but the natural lighting is preferred because it is...more natural. I am able to appreciate the picture more knowing I was catching his behavior exactly as I saw it. Flash intensifies features but natural lighting keeps it real.
Nice to see another person use a kitty as your subject! I think cats make such awesome subjects to photograph. The direct sunlight picture shows great depth, lighting and shadows! Cute!
